The weather was awesome (first time this year in Denmark I think) and it was really a no-brainer to volunteer for cancer.dk (Kræftens bekæmpelse) on this beautiful day. Being a cancer survivor myself - I I can't say enough nice things about cancer.dk and the work they do.
This year 27.000 people in Denmark rang doorbells all over the country in order to raise money for cancer.dk. Despite financial crisis and what other excuses we can think of - not to give - this year cancer.dk raised 31.5 Million Danish Kroner (USD 557.917) - which is 500.000DKr (USD 88.558) more than last year! Go figure!

The money primarily goes to research - which is awesome... without the research we will never really get anywere - will we? But cancer.dk also helps you and supports you should you or someone you love gets cancer - and that is quite honestly priceless!
