I have been in Kabul for a week now - and so far I haven't been able to do much... I don't know if it is because I forgot how slow things are here or if it is because the security situation really has changed.
Since I arrived there has been a suicide bomb, some shootings and a kidnapping of a French NGO worker. As usual this has very little to do with me - as I don't have any daily routine and am free to plan my day as I want.
I am hoping for a trip to Panjshir one of the next days to go and photograph a Buskashi Game... That will definitely make for some interesting photos.
So far I have been limited to Kabul - and my usual hood - which I am actually pretty exited about as there is plenty to photograph no matter where you go.
It has been nice to catch up with old friends here... everything seems the same - yet different. I stay in my old house, my old bed, with my old housemates... It really is like dropping into some sort of time pocket...
